Public Recreation

As lands are gradually donated to Whiterock Conservancy over a five-year period, 5,000 acres of contiguous river valley will be opened to the public for recreation, such as equestrian trail riding, camping, mountain biking, stream and pond fishing, and hiking.
Wildlife watchers will be delighted with the variety of birds that frequent a mix of habitat areas. The Middle Raccoon River offers an extremely scenic canoe trip. Our rural setting leaves our lands almost devoid of light pollution, offering some of Iowa's darkest skies for astronomy.

A number of these activities are currently available through Whiterock Resort. To learn more about activities currently available, please visit www.farmresort.com.
