As a part of the Guest Services team, housekeepers help to ensure guests have a pleasant and memorable experience by ensuring accommodations are clean, tidy, and welcoming when guests arrive. This is achieved by routine and regularly scheduled deep cleans. If you are courteous, helpful, customer service-minded, and a bit of a neat-freak, apply today!


  • Clean accommodations before and after a guest arrive. Accommodations include any site that is listed for use by outside entities as determined by the Executive Director.

  • Clean Whiterock offices and employee spaces as assigned per a determined schedule. Whiterock offices and employee spaces include any site that is used by Whiterock employees as determined by the Executive Director.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk on uneven surfaces for one-half mile.

  • Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products

  • Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors as needed

  • In charge of vacuuming equipment; vacuum and clean carpets and perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain removal as needed

  • Dispose of trash from bins and containers

  • Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed

  • Scrub sinks, basins, bathtubs, showers, and toilets in private and public bathrooms

  • Change linens and gather used linens such as sheets or towels for laundering

  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed

  • Keep all public spaces tidy

  • Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered

  • Promote Whiterock mission and services

  • Package and place welcome messages and packages for guests.

  • Work effectively and respectfully with co-workers.

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use of cleaning agents

  • Attention to detail

  • Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods

  • Physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods

  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for extended lengths of time

  • Previous experience cleaning preferred; training will be provided

  • Ability to assist customers and guests when needed

  • Pays attention to detail when cleaning

  • Organized and able to follow a schedule

  • Ability to follow verbal directions

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Honest, trustworthy, respectful, and reliable

  • Ability to use reservation and cleaning management software platforms
