This weekend was the second annual Whiterock Ultra. Runners could choose to race either 50 kilometers or 50 miles through the Whiterock trail system. The 50 mile race began at midnight and the 50 kilometer race began at 7:00 a.m. Runners had until 5:00 p.m. to finish.
The race was orchestrated by Race Directors Mike McGinn and Greg Gayman. Ultra staff, Whiterock staff and volunteers worked together to prepare the trails and aid stations. Runners attended from across the country, including Iowa, Nebraska, Mississippi and North Carolina!
