State Archaeologist, Joe Artz will be presenting at the Bur Oak Visitor Center on May 24th, 7 p.m. RSVP to save your seat!

About the Program:

At various times in the past, Whiterock has been located on an equatorial ocean, a subtropical coastal plain, and at the western edge of a continental glacier. For the last 12,000 years, however, the valley has looked much as we see it today. The geological history of Whiterock is a fascinating story of how water, wind, and ice worked through time, to sculpt the present-day landscape that we experience in this corner of Guthrie County.
