​​​​Whiterock Conservancy is excited to partner with the Iowa DNR to host an automated radio telemetry receiver called the Motus Wildlife Tracking System, that tracks the migration movements of birds and bats across the state.

Iowa has 40 stations in the state and the goal is to create a fence of Motus receiver stations east-west through the center of the state and to border the MO and MI rivers with stations.

Most activity will occur during the spring and fall migration.
