Join us for an active afternoon kickstarting a big habitat restoration project! We will be clearing a remnant prairie of invasive brush and deadfall, so volunteer work may include navigating rough terrain and performing repetitive motions, such as piling brush and downed logs.

Join us for an active afternoon kickstarting a big habitat restoration project! We will be clearing a remnant prairie of invasive brush and deadfall, so volunteer work may include navigating rough terrain and performing repetitive motions, such as piling brush and downed logs. Please wear closed-toed shoes, pants, and long sleeves, and bring personal protective equipment (PPE) if you have it, due to the nature of the work and the fact that there will be power tools in operation throughout the afternoon. Whiterock can provide basic PPE for adults and teens if needed, including gloves, eye protection, and ear protection; we do not have youth sizes. All volunteers will be required to sign a waiver upon arrival.
