Whiterock Conservancy Pairing Dinner Presented by Big Grove Brewery & Lua Brewing

Big Grove Brewery and Lua Brewing are honored to collaborate in support of the Whiterock Conservancy with a special dinner on Thursday, September 12. The event will take place in the private Crescent Room at the Big Grove Brewery & Taproom in Des Moines. This six-course pairing dinner will feature local bison from Whiterock Conservancy. Each ticket covers dinner for two guests with pairings.

Whiterock Conservancy is a 5,500-acre nonprofit land trust dedicated to providing educational and recreational opportunities, improving and protecting the land through conservation, and demonstrating sustainable farming methods in Coon Rapids, Iowa.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Dinner service begins at 6:00 p.m.

•Snacks: Bison Pâté, Bison Mousse, Corned Bison Tartare, paired with Loud as Hope Hefeweizen (Lua) •Course 2: Hiramasa Crudo with Kohlrabi, Pickled Grapes, Watercress, paired with High Street Hefeweizen (BGB) •Course 3: Heirloom Tomato & Aged White Cheddar Tart with Zucchini Salad, paired with Shed Franconian Kellerbier (Lua) •Course 4: Parisian Gnocchi with Creamed Corn, Oyster Mushrooms, Brown Butter Crumb, paired with The Luckiest Man Ale (BGB) •Course 5: Bison Duo with Potato, Charred Eggplant, and Preserved Peppers, paired with Tulpa West Coast Pilsner (Lua) •Course 6: Olive Oil Cake with Preserved Cherries, Dulce De Leche Frosting, Bee Pollen Pavlova, paired with Dual Rangers Schwarzbier (BGB)

Beer pairings, non-alcoholic beverages, and the opening cocktail are included in the ticket price. Any additional alcoholic drinks are the responsibility of the guest. Tax and gratuity are included. Each ticket covers dinner for two.
