This short but scenic trail is a spur of the Main Loop Trail system that ends at the rustic 805 River Cabin. Along this trail you will pass pastures on one side and timber stands on the other. The trail gets steep near the end and leads you down to the 805 Cabin and the north end of Riverside Trail. From the 805 Cabin look directly across the river to see the beautiful Redrock bluff, a colorful outcrop of cretaceous Dakota sandstone. The 805 Cabin and a view of Redrock bluff can also be accessed from the other direction using Riverside Trail. Extend your hike by connecting the 805 to the end of Long Creek and Riverside Trails to returning to the River Campground as part of the Long Creek - 805 Spur - Riverside Loop.
