Tucked deep in the woods between a spring-fed pond and the Middle Raccoon River, our 805 River Cabin offers the perfect destination for those seeking a true primitive camping experience. This remote cabin is accessible only by hiking, biking, or horseback from our River Campground, providing a peaceful and secluded getaway immersed in nature.

Originally moved into the valley from 805 Main Street in Coon Rapids many years ago, this rustic retreat sits in a quiet, lush valley filled with thriving wildlife. Deer, wild turkeys, coyotes, beavers, and songbirds abound in the surrounding woods, making every visit a nature-lover’s delight. The cabin features a single room with six twin sleeping platforms equipped with foam mattresses, so you’ll want to bring your own bedding. Please note, there is no water or electricity, allowing for a truly off-the-grid experience in the heart of the Whiterock Valley.

 

Sleeps: 6 with additional tent camping allowed for additional fee

Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 10am

 

Directions: Hike/Bike Route, Equestrian Route. 

 

Amenities:

• 6 twin sleeping platforms with pads – MUST bring own sleeping bags

• Large yard for additional tent camping. $15 per tent per night.

• Sun warmed water gravity fed shower and outhouse.

• Fire pit, picnic table, charcoal grill

• Firewood available at campsite.  One bundle of firewood is included per day with your booking. 

• Pets are welcome

• PARKING: River Campground

• No electricity, no running water. Please plan accordingly.

• No personal ATVs or UTVs
